John J. Diez

President and Chief Operating Officer

John Diez is the president and chief operating officer (COO) of Ryder System, Inc., where he oversees the operations of the company's three business segments: Fleet Management Solutions (FMS), Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), and Dedicated Transportation Solutions (DTS). He is part of Ryder's executive leadership team, contributing to the company's strategic direction and operational management.

Before his current role as COO, Mr. Diez was the executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Ryder, managing all financial functions. His previous experience also includes serving as the president of FMS, where he led global fleet operations, and as president of the DTS unit, where he set the strategic direction for dedicated transportation services.

Mr. Diez joined Ryder in 2002 and has accumulated extensive experience in various senior leadership positions within the company. Prior to his tenure at Ryder, he began his career in the audit practice of KPMG LLP.

In addition to his roles at Ryder, Mr. Diez serves on several boards, including Trinity Industries, Inc., the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Jackson Health Foundation, and United Way Miami. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
